Rounding to the Nearest 10 — Easy Worksheet 2
Grade 4 · MathSheets Name: ____________________ Date: __________
Round each number to the place named. The same kind of rounding comes in different shapes.
How to solve
Look at the ones digit. If it is 5 or more, round up: the tens digit goes up by 1 and the ones become 0 (37 → 40, 45 → 50). If it is 4 or less, round down: keep the tens digit and make the ones 0 (83 → 80). When the tens digit is a 9 and you round up, it carries into the hundreds: 196 → 200 and 2,397 → 2,400.
